Labs - At EGIS 2
We believe that hands-on investigation through laboratory experimentation is the best way to introduce students to scientific inquiry, the process of asking questions and conducting experiments as a way to understand the natural world, which is the foundation of science education.>
Our Science lab provides students with the opportunity to interact directly with natural phenomena or with raw data
The goal of phonics is to enable beginning readers to decode new written words by sounding them out, or in phonics terms, blending the sound-spelling patterns.
In our Phonics lab, teachers help students hone their speaking and listening skills through the use of audio-visuals and activities.
They teach reading and writing of the English language by developing students' phonemic awareness - the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate phonemes-in order to teach the correspondence between these sounds and the spelling patterns that represent them.
